Sonic To Open New Restaurant On Route 7

“Service with the speed of sound” is coming to a new Connecticut location.

Sonic is reportedly opening its newest restaurant in the Nutmeg State, with road signs announcing that the popular drive-in is heading to the Route 7 Travel Plaza in New Milford.

The restaurant will revive the building on the corner of Route 7 and Still River Road, which has been vacant for years. The area is also expected to include a new Sunoco gas station.

In addition to the New Milford location, Connecticut residents can frequent Sonic restaurants in Manchester, Milford, and Wallingford.
